Over the years, we have continually improved our content search capabilities. We do this in coordination with our clients, where they have specific requests for capabilities or features, or by our product team working along side real world cases to see what works and what doesn’t.
It is this last case that lead us to the updates to our content search rolling out on March 11th, 2020. We will be utilizing a query command approach to search, which gives you better control over what you wish to match on. The benefits of this is based on watching and talking with clients. We found that, with this new approach, the first entry into searching, as well as future refinement of finding content was improved three fold over what we have currently.
We are very happy to make this our new default content search and look forward to any feedback that our clients may have. This search is available for everyone, but only clients on subscription plans will have our legacy search options as well as this new search available to them. These legacy search options will be turned into our new search option after a long review period, and with notice.
