A lot has happened in the past year and a half, and we wanted to catch everyone up on where we are at, our latest platform release, and the exciting future coming up.
First, in case anyone missed the news, we were acquired by American City Business Journals in the Summer of 2016. ACBJ has a long history of running business journals in over 43 markets across the United States. As a subsidiary of Advance Publications and American City Business Journals, we are now a part of a large and respected organization of publishing, media and branded content where we can leverage all of what they provide, to help you, our clients.
Over the past year we have spent time working with all of our clients, as well as our new parent company, to find just the right way to improve how people create, manage and publish content to any channel. We see the pain and struggle that our new clients have before they start working with us, and we know our platform helps immensely once they begin to integrate with us, but there is always more that can be done. We believe we need to devote our time to making the platform more accessible to any company who needs help with their content, as well as providing tools, analytics and incentives that will help expand beyond just content creation.
We are announcing a new version of our platform, that goes far and above what we have provided up to this point. The emphasis of this platform release has been to ensure you can monitor any of your categories, so that you have an endless supply of ideas to create content from, find out what your competitors are up to, or just do quick updates to your social feeds. We have significantly upgraded the publishing capabilities, where you can use any of our out-of-the-box templates for newsletters and posts, or build your own with the standard templating library of Handlebars. We provide automated content based on your own criteria, or via a personalized user algorithm. We are happy to announce all of these features to our clients, and our goal is to continue the process of making the content creation process, for everyone, as simple as possible.

We have a lot planned over the next year, based on requests from clients and from our knowledge of the industry. We are currently testing a content personalization service to provide through our API, which will be launching soon. We will be expanding our Newsletter capabilities to allow for for greater freedom from all of your email sending tools such as Mailchimp, Sailthru, Silverpop, etc. We will be providing more ways to make your content interactive, shareable and monetizable. At the end of the day, our motto is “Be Helpful, Be Useful, Be Simple”.
To wrap up, we wanted to say that we are here to help you in any way that we can. Many times that means using our platform, but we also help our clients by giving advice on technologies to use, processes to implement, or other marketing ideas and implementations that they may not know about. At the end of the day, we are only successful if you are and we will do whatever we can to help you out.
